Big Winner...

So from my last post i took my Frozen G1 to a T-Mobile rep, he couldnt do anything not that i expected him to in the first place as it is still a UK handset. But he said its still under warranty and shows no sign of water damage so i should be able to get them to send out a new handset. The downside i have to wait till i get home which is on July 15th. So to make myself feel better i got 1 of the 2 things on my list of things to buy while im out here, to pick up "Beats by Dr Dre" headphones which retail at the Apple Store in London at £279, whereas over here it retails at $299, so its a saving of about £100,

and i have to say i really really like them, the sound is excellent, better than my old and stupid in ear headphones, had to really turn up the volume on my ipod to get best out of my old headphones, with these im playing at halfway lol, and oddly will colour co-ordinate with the new Manchester United Kit for next season lol :p

leading me to last night, which my cousin asked me if i wanted to do something, which i said i dunno and then we end up in a car to his friends house and then from there to Saratoga NY, not much happened here apart from hitting a sort of Casino, was made to play some Video poker as i basically didnt wanna spend any money, was given $1, lol was up $5 lol shut up i know thats not alot LOL it is tho when you think i started with $1 and now at $5 lol, anyway while i probably should of quit while i was ahead, lol i didnt, ended up cashing out with $2.75 yup big winner right here tonight,

Annoyance,

Right now im actually annoyed by my stupid phone which decided its not going to work while im over here in New York, it was fine yesterday, put the stupid thing on charge last night, working for the rest of the morning come back in the afternoon and its not responsive, wont come out of screen lock, non of the touchscreen functions are working, non of the buttons were working, after numerous taking the battery out and turning the phone back on the same thing after 2 seconds of the phone being loaded up it would freeze again,

restored to factory settings still nothing, evan tried running the battery till its good and dead and recharging it then powering it back on to reboot the system software, still the same, so freaking annoying, im gonna probably see a T-Mobile representative here either tomorrow or saturday, but its bloody stupid that its not working and im now going to bed annoyed which is one thing i dont like doing,

i suppose if it doesnt work i shall be getting a iPhone alot sooner than i expected,

Being Ill On Vacation

ok it took one day of being here, i had barely left the house that day and i caught a cold, a epic runny nose leading to nose blowing, which lead to nose bleeds cause you blew your nose so hard, lol, great lol. Then my mum calls and obviously ive been resting all day, and my dad tells my mum ive got the Flu, which she immediatly thinks its Swine Flu, and not like my dad did anything to deny it lol, so i get a call from my mum asking me if im alright and not to go outside lol, oh did i mention T-Mobile have screwed me over with there roaming Charges, 50p a min to call or recieve a call, so im getting charged to answer my phone wtf is up with that, 40p to send a text message, and 20p to send a Picture message, what is up with that why is a bloody text message more expensive than a picture message thats fucked up

Caught the latest pixar movie, "Up" in the 3D earlier in the week, thats a movie that really didnt have to be in 3D, lol however as are all pixar movies they are good, so if you havnt seen already i recomend that you check it out,

the annoying part about being over here is that my sleep insomnia has come along with me, although going to sleep at 5am means i sleep at a reasonable time for NY time which is midnight however, i am staying up a few extra hours after that which is annoying lol, so recently im going to sleep at 7-8am UK time, what am i doing in all this time being awake, well im watching Avatar below is a fan made trailer i found on youtube for those who have no idea what im talking about,

watching Wimbledon without the Mac John McEnroe on commentary as it is in England isnt quite the same lol, also waking up feeling like ive missed entire lifetime of news, lol, anyway ill leave at this for now, i thought id leave something quick on my blog,

London’s Manny Transferred to New York?

Its bigger than the Kaka and Ronaldo moves to Real Madrid, well no its not lol and I couldn’t come up a better title than this so I ran with it, So for the Next 4 Weeks ill be In New York,

So the Trip didn’t start in the best way, I was in the shower and I get a nosebleed, and the way I reacted as I had soap on my head wasn’t exactly the best, so not only am I having a nosebleed I now have soap in my eyes as I attend to my nose.

The flight was at 10am so i left the house at 6:20a with m by a cab, which a idiot was driving, and a lot of waiting around once checked in, about 2 hours wait, so got a hot chocolate from Starbucks, and it sucked lol Costa hot chocolate is SO MUCH BETTER, as you can also get Marshmallow’s with the cream top not to mention it tastes better, as were ordering the Chinese man on the till proceeds to yell out, first what was ordered, and then how much, how much he received then yells out how much change is to be given. Why? Why did he need to do that, it hurt more cause I had a headache as I didn’t sleep the night before,

Then I was sitting in front of the Departures board waiting for the gate to my flight to open, and sitting opposite me I swear was John Locke from lost eating a Orange lol, the only difference, this old man had Glasses and no Knife lol,

The Gate opened and shortly after they were letting people board the plane, well I thought the plane but it was a BUS yes a bus to the plane which I thought was funny, as the front of the bus had the Flight number and Destination on it, which I kept proceeding to say were taking the bus to Newark,

Got on the plane into my seat, and I pretty much fell asleep till we took off, then fell asleep again after take off, until I was awoken by the idiot Indian man in front of me abusing the seat leaning back as the back of seat and my tiny monitor was inches away from my face, needless to say he was gonna get terrorised on this flight. When the drinks and peanuts tray was making its rounds, I got to beers and proceeded to throw droplets of beer off my fingers up and over the seat, effectively baptising him in beer, by the way this wasn’t the only thing that I did to him and his seat, I got up a number of times to go toilet I only actually needed to go once or twice, but I just kept going just to push the chair and shake it as I got up, but I must give this man credit, as he didn’t budge he kept his fucking chair in the same fucking place for the entire flight till the air hostess, told him to move it up, after she saw me look like a right child with my arms folded and pouting when she was handing out food lol, thank you Bren :p

Oh this morning I must have open the blood gates in my nose cause I did get a nosebleed on this flight, which took forever to end leading in falling asleep again after a another epic nosebleed,

We landed and I was amazed when going through Immigration control that I went through without yes WITHOUT being interrogated, I was very pleased, got the luggage and met my family, and made the Drive from New Jersey to Albany New York

It appeared like I brought the horrible weather with me from last week as it was on and off rain and dark clouds as we drove the long 3hr drive upstate, we went to some outlets first, I didn’t buy anything except a couple of belts from Quicksilver at a ridiculous reduced price, I already own a Quicksilver belt which I bought from the Quicksilver shop along Reagents Street, I paid for that belt back in November £35, and I managed to buy 2 of the these belts for Less than that, each of them costing me $6 each,

Anyway despite the horrible start to the trip it ended quiet well, and as I type this I can see the sunlight from the window in the basement so least I escaped the horrible and depressing dark clouds with hardly any rain in London, I bet though now its started to be sunny again in London, and yes I brought my Laptop with me this time, im not typing up crazy long blogs on my ipod touch again, that was so long and irritating lol,

Summer Experiment

If you recall from a previous blog post, i seem to get a case of stupid songs getting stuck in my head, during extremly stressful or quiet momments lol last week was no exception, if you got a text at some point this week on your phone lol you already kinda know what it is,

Last week i had "In The Jungle" from Lion King stuck in my head, and that song just doesnt stay in your head it embeds itself deep into your brain, now imagine when you in a exam and its stuck in your head and part of you wants to burst out and start singing it out aloud lol,

Well my experiment was to see if i could force this song onto to other people and see if they would pick up the song, its normally only with annoying songs people will pick up the bug, and i would have to say it was somewhat sucessful,

i post the video above at 8:51 am on Monday Morning with the caption,

unaware how well this was gonna play off, as i left the house to help out my mum at work, then i checked facebook a few hours later, to find i had 3 responses which isnt bad since the early start time, then came the second part of the trial :p texting part of the song,

only to get a incredible response people texting back lyrics and then hours later saying damn you manny i cant get this song out of my head, :p job done :D although the greatest sucess was the next day in the evening someone on facebook responding to me on my wall saying "Curses that song is so catchy" lol which makes me laugh more as its still had a effect a day later :p

so i now i forward this onto you to try this out for yourself, :p many also asked weather i was or well just assumed i was drunk at that time of the morning, but i can assure you i was 100% sober lol

Yay i suppose was how was suppose to feel after my last exam, although that wasnt the case, by the end of it i was exhausted, i was in the Student Union for a bit playing pool basically to release some frustration, and then whislt the smokers wents outside for a smoke i remained inside, put my head on my backpack which has this soft backing to it, and next thing i remember was waking up with my friend looking at me and going Morning, followed by morning dear, sweetheart, baby, little boy and special, not to mention singing rock a bye baby, and Twinkle Twinkle little star, i woke up dazed rubbing my eyes whislt she mocked me and i couldnt retaliate mainly cause i had nothing come back with. lol although whislt rubbing my eyes after waking up having my eyes try to refocus someone wearing pink was talking and in my mind it processed the person talking as a Giant Talking Prawn.

i cant believe i fell asleep in the Student Union, i was gonna say Uni but i have fallen asleep in Lectures before, but the Student Union leaves you in a vunerable position in which everyone can torment you, no one did but the general reason i would never sleep in the student union is falling asleep only to have someone draw on your face, so i might just invest in this T-Shirt in the future just incase,


Anyway ill leave it there for now, as im going back to sleep cause im so tired, and its only 8pm on a Friday :s, maybe ill watch Big Brother, ugh Big Brother is back again, i said to myself when i heard it was starting up again that i wouldnt watch it, yet yesterday i watched the Launch episode :S

Procrastination

My Metabolism exam tomorrow but i keep procrastinating, lol. right now im looking at Old Family guy clips and well blogging that im looking at them too, lol so below just to see the level of procrastination im going through i have put up some of the most funniest scenes of Family Guy.
