Another batch of comic books that i havnt had the time to read yet, and im rushing to post this aswell at 8:52pm cause i have to bloody try and go to sleep, as im doing a 6am to 2pm shift at work rather than my regular 2pm to 10pm, everyone is saying that its a good shift as its not busy in the morning only really starts to get busy around lunch time. But im not thinking about that, im thinking about having to get up at about 4am, im pretty sure ill be passed out and asleep and frozen in the freezer at about 6:30am.

I know this post is late, very late so late that when i went to pick these up, i was picking up the following weeks comics at the same time, the total came to about £25, and once again i have yet to get round to reading them, and i thought i would have got that done last week as i had 2 days off in a row cause someone switched with me, but i never got round to it cause ive been playing this game called Dead Island on xbox 360, but i will get round to it at some point, later this month.

As mentioned in the previous post, im now 1 month behind in comic books, so of the books ive bought, i have now 19 comics that need to be read, the maths says if i spend on average take about 15 minutes to read a comic book, that it will take me about 4 hours and 45 minutes. I dont see that happening tonight but i aim to take at least 2 weeks of books of the unread list.

Edit: 20/01/2012 (11:40pm) Opted not to go out tonight and instead read attempted to catch up reading my comic books as noted above. Earlier i thought i would read through one or two and then probably end up going out, but instead ive taken a massive chunk out of my unread reading list of comic books, Read all of the first two weeks of unread comics, and read all but one of week 3, and read Ultimate Comics Spiderman from this weeks pile, so ive taken 19 unread comic books to just 6 unread comic books.

Working when Sick grrr

This might go down as one of the most embarrassing things to happen to me in a while, and it occurred at work. But to get to that point im gonna have to let you know a few things first. So first thing first, i have caught the Flu, i had it since last Thursday, when it just started as a sore throat and then a temperature which wasnt pleasant while i was working. Good thing the next day was my day off and managed to shift the temperature although all the other flu symptoms decided to go surprise were here too!

Which leads me to my next day at work, leading up to this day i had a restless night of sleep, kept tossing and turning and waking up, and my nose keep bleeding from blowing my nose, but thats not the last time your gonna hear me mention a nose bleed cause it happened 15 minutes before my shift at work, and it wouldnt stop so quickly cause i had previously taken some panadol which i think thinned my blood and resulted in my blood just shooting out like a waterfall, so i ran downstairs pinching my nose with tissue and run out of the store and stood outside to try and cool down while stopping my nosebleed, to which a customer decided to ask me a question, 1. Im not on the clock yet, 2, erm hello cant you see what im doing isnt it obvious with the blood on my fingers and on the tissue, the worst part is the question was so stupid, "do you recycle Christmas cards"

Anyway i managed to stop my nose bleed, and then it started to bleed again 5 mins towards the end of my break 4 hours or so after the one previous. That day wasnt helped by everyone noticing i didn't look well, and saying, "you dont look too good" found it weird none of the managers noticed this but oh well...

thinking about it now i probably should have just called in sick, but i was under the impression as a temp, its probably better to get sent home for being sick rather than calling in sick.

So the next day or Today (Sunday) i made a point of not taking any panadol just so i dont get a repeat of Saturday, and i feel a bit crappy at work, but its manageable cause i didnt really have to do much for the first hour or two cause all the stock was put out prior to me starting my shift, so im helping someone out, when i hear a voice yelling Manny! Manny! theres only one person who yells like that with no shame, and thats my Mum, she there still yelling my name even tho ive already noticed her, and she hands me medicine Lemsip Max Strength and Water, which was great cause it got me through the next few hours struggled a bit when it was wearing off towards the end of the shift, although i did look like a baby infront of my co workers despite getting some Aww's from the girls, its also the yelling of my Mum calling me which is also incredibly embarrassing.

Hopefully i can shift this flu soon, can't be going to work like this,

My Day Off

My first day off in 6 days, and what did i do, i said to those at work i was probably just gonna stay in bed and shut my brain off and just rest, which for the most part i did, however for a hour i was out getting a massage cause my back and arms felt wrecked. I went in and asked which kind of massage would be good to ease the pain in my back, the lady said Deep Tissue Massage, i said that sounds like its gonna hurt, the lady at reception said no not really however the woman standing behind her kind of made a grimaced face. So i said ok but her face says that it is gonna hurt, So she then recommended a Thai massage.

So i went into the massage room, removed my clothes and lay on the massage table with my face in that hole, and waited for the lady that was going to give me this Thai massage, this lady was about 5 foot tall and hardly any body muscle but managed administer some serious pain on my back, i dunno what she was doing but at some point she was kneeling on me and using her knees to apply pressure on my back. There were also some stretches she did on me that could only be described as wrestling/mma submission holds. Theres a reason your face is in a hole looking down at the floor, its so they cant see the pain on your face while they apply pressure.

About 20 minutes in she found a knot in my back near my shoulder blade which proper killed when she was massaging that area she said it was a big knot and asked if it hurts and of course it hurt i just was trying not to yell OWWW WHAT THE FUCK , it still hurts now actually, she said its probably gonna be sore for a couple of days.

It was pretty much a full body massage for a hour, she focussed on my back for most of the hour but also did the front and back of my legs and feet, and my arms and head. My back actually feels alot better right now with the exception of my neck and the area where that knot was. I did however nearly hurt myself after the massage, she had left the room so i could get changed, what i should point out when she was massaging me with oil when she was done with particular part she would pat it down with a towel to remove most of the oil. She didnt however do this with my feet, so when i stepped on that marble tiles i slid right into the wall and turning off the light some how, and i couldnt turn it back on cause my hands were also covered in the oil too from when she massaged my arms. So i had to get changed in the dark and get my socks on first so i wasn't sliding all about the place.

The rest of my day off was basically having a long nap when i got home and then watching some tv, nothing out of the ordinary lol, oh i also made a trip to the comic book shop, to pick up last week comic books which i will eventually end up posting, may just post it with tomorrows comic books,

6 Days...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Manny you gotta work the next 6 days, well thats not exactly how it went but its damn sure how it felt. So the store was closed on Christmas day as expected it, however i normally work on Sundays so in order to make up the time, i had to work on one of my days off, and i was scheduled to be in last Tuesday which i had no idea about as im normally off on a Tuesday so didnt check the Tuesday work Schedule that was on the notice board. So while i was meant to be at work i was at the cinema watching The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo pretty awesome mystery film did make me think about reading the next two books.

Anyway i go to work on Wednesday and find out that i was meant to be in on Tuesday, which instantly made me panic "oh shit i fucked up" anyway this wasnt such a big issue as i wasnt the only one that did this. So one of the managers suggested i just make up the hours on my next day off which would be Friday, which in turn would mean working 6 days in a row, which included New Years Eve and New Years Day. By the 6th Day i was just exhausted, also a little fed up, but i got through it and that's all that matters. The annoying thing about this was that it wasnt just a ordinary fuck up, it was a double fuck up i suppose on my part, as the Tuesday i was meant to be in was a Bank holiday, so by not being in i forfeited Time and a Half pay.

The Store was also closed on Boxing day but my store had already agreed with one of the big central London stores that some of us working their will have to work in that store on Boxing day, which was fine, despite the fact that it wasnt my store so didnt know where things went or where things are or anything about the sale that was going on cause my store is strictly food whereas that store is clothing aswell. i was made to assist with packing on a till for 4 hours so it wasnt too bad well it kinda was as in my store packing is easy as its pretty much just boxes of stuff to put in a bag its like playing tetris pretty much but in that store i learnt about myself that day, i cant fold clothes as i would attempt to fold the clothes and then shove it in the bag.

The remaining 2 hours were spent doing put backs however as i didnt know where things were it was basically walking around the menswear department trying to find where things went lol not bad for time and half pay. Also went for a drink afterwards which i clearly needed the drink it seems as i managed to down 2 pints like they were nothing in like 40 minutes, i only know this cause i walked into the pub during a football match and had a timer lol.

Dunno how I did this cause I hadn't been drinking at the time I was drinking afterwards, but I walked right into a glass door after being ID'ed at the doors before going into the bar, then after being ID'ed I walked right into the glass door looking like a total idiot grr lol

Had to edit this post, as for the next 2 days my jaw was killing, after walking into that door, which didnt hurt at the time, but it sure did when i got home and all during work.

I picked up Catwoman #1-3 this week mainly cause she is kinda involved in the Batman Arkham City game ive been playing so thought id give her comic book series a read, also this weeks comic books felt like something was missing, so i checked what i normally pick up on my blog when i picked up Green Lantern, Grifter and Batwoman, and it turns out it was Ultimate Comics Spiderman. Also once again only read two of the comic books last week so i gotta read a extra three on top of the ones i picked up this week.

Quick Batman Arkham City update, since i last blogged i am about 40% of the way though the main story, and its a pretty awesome Batman story.

Also picked up yesterday Batman Arkham City for xbox 360, not the usual type of game i play and its kinda difficult but im enjoying the story so far. Didnt play it all day yesterday as i got stuck on one bit and couldnt be bothered to play it lol, but im gonna take my time playing through this, unlike what i did with L.A Noire the "blockbuster" game of last summer where i rushed through it and ended up hating it when i eventually got round to finishing it.

A quick comic book update, seeing as their was no new comic books for me to pick up this week from what i was told at the comic book shop, DC Comics decided to take a week off, and #4 issues should be rolling out next week. I decided this time to finally catch up with the past couple of weeks comic books that i hadnt had the time to read, dunno why though their maximum 15 minute read, unless of course its Superman which takes longer, Superman #3 just took me 30 minutes to read lol.

So the only thing left that needs to be read is Batman Noel, which im gonna start probably tomorrow morning before work.

My friend from twitter that i met up with a few weeks ago, sent me over a signed photo of one of my current favourite wrestlers, its pretty cool, considering the only other wrestler to ever sign something for me was Mick Foley, who when signed it looks like he wrote to danny, from dick Foley lol he wrote his M's in a weird way that made them look like lower case D's

anyway CM Punk is one of my favourite wrestlers these days, its pretty cool to watch the rise of his career, i watched some of his early matches in Ring of Honor to the big leagues of WWE.

Last summer he was the talk of the Internet Wrestling Community because of this promo,

which led to one of the best matches in 2011, and the storyline if Punk won he would leave the wwe as the wwe champion as his contract was due to expire that night after ppv which was the case, and he would later return few weeks later with awesome ring entrance music the music that he used in Ring of Honor.

I know this post is really late, should of got round to posting this last Wednesday but was far too lazy to go out and get them with work shortly after, and then was lazy the next thursday so i ended up picking up my Comic Books on Friday morning. Green Lantern: The New Guardians #3

When i was paying for this book it kicked off the second most nerdiest comic book conversation i had with someone that week, the guy behind the desk asked if this book was any good and worth reading, i mentioned im only reading it cause i like Green Lantern and there is more than likely going to be another massive cross over between all the Green Lantern series, which led to a conversation how both of us are falling behind on Comic Books and Podcasts.

Blog posts on the Go?

Whilst browsing the apple app store, noticed that google have added a blogger app, I'm aware there was a similar app that allowed posting to multiple blog sites but that cost like £1.79 or £2 I know that seems like nothing consider the amount of rubbish apps I have bought in the past. but this one is free is so I'm gonna use it. So might be able to post quick random observations or instant rants or raves from my phone lol I'm posting this on my iPhone from bed lol

Also finally i can get push gmail emails to my phone now thanks to the official gmail application, never really got the native iPhone email app to work properly to give me push emails.

The only annoying thing is i cant get service to do anything when in the building at work especially when I'm in the staff room or break room whatever you wanna call it, which is tough for me on Saturdays or Sundays when I wanna know the score for the football, which sadly I did during my break on Saturday, left the building walked to the pub opposite and checked the score through the window, Then later I asked a customer who happened to be wearing a ManUtd shirt what the score was lol.

Going to Wembley at the Last Minute

So last Tuesday was my day off from work, in which i met a friend i had made on twitter who had made a trip to the London from the States, it was a quick meet up with a couple of drinks, essentially it was just to give him the Match Day program he asked for when i went up to Old Trafford last summer. Now i should note that it was a decent day for the weather when i left the house so i had just went out in a t-shirt and a checkered shirt, no jacket, and it started to get a bit chilly whilst sitting in the Bar.

After that i met up with another friend which ended up as having a another set of quick drinks well i say quick i ended up ordering something to eat cause i was really hungry, however these drinks led to the most spontaneous decision we have ever made, That night England was playing Sweden in a international friendly, and the fixture failed to sell out so tickets were still available at the ticket office if you wanted them. So it was about 5:30 when the idea came about that we should go, i was refusing to go cause i didnt have a jacket and it would get colder and colder as the night went on, and i wasnt sure if i wanted to sit in a stadium while the temperature just kept dropping. In which my friend throws his scarf at me, and...

Come 5:50pm we have left the bar and now in a train from Baker Street to Wembley Park Station, to where we step out of the station and have amazing view of the stadium at Night time, with the Stadiums arch lit up.

As you can see not dressed appropriately for the cold weather especially at night what a idiot lol

We walked towards the stadium down Wembley Way (im not sure if its called that or not, but it sounds good lol) walking towards the ticket office in which we picked up tickets, and made our way into the Stadium to find our seats.

The seats were pretty amazing we were 21 rows from the pitch, the game itself was ok, the first half seemed fairly competitive, the second half the life of the game was sucked out. At half time i was jogging on the spot to keep warm, and just knew id probably be going into my Graduation ceremony the next day well morning, with a cold.

I got home just before 11 and jumped into my bed and wrapped myself up in my blanket and went to bed to get warm. Still cant beileve that we decided to go to Wembley so last minute. My mate wrote on facebook.

Ive been meaning to post something along the lines of passing my exams and doing enough to Graduate for a while now, but didnt seem right to do so without attending the ceremony and having pictures in the Cap and Gown or Wizards costume, i look like i could have been a extra in Harry Potter lol. Ceremony was pretty cool was held in the O2 Arena once known as the Millennium Dome. But didnt stick around long to enjoy in some of the fun after the ceremony cause i have to run off to work, so im typing this quickly!

The Muppets Socks

I needed some black socks for work, cause i have i think only 2 pairs of black socks that have survived from the last time i actually properly needed them which was 7 years when i had to wear them with my School Uniform.

So i left the house yesterday with the intention to just buy a pair of socks, and thats exactly what i did, i got to the store and saw these and instantly picked them up and went to a till.

Also since buying these ive had the Muppet Show theme song as well as the The Muppet Babies theme song stuck in my head.

Aquaman #2 I went into this reading this thinking its Aquaman and Aquaman sucks but after issue 1 and now 2 i still think he sucks don't get me wrong but the story is interesting and i was told that going into the New 52's that Aquaman was meant to be pretty good and could be the dark horse of the new 52's lol

Superman #2 Not all that impressed with Superman #2 saying that i wasnt all that impressed with Superman #1 either, i had the same problem with both issues, i had to take a break and put the comic book down whilst reading the damn thing cause there is just so much going on and there is so much text to read in panels its like actually reading a book without the artwork, and each time i read superman i was glad that i had finished it. I was meant to post this a couple of weeks ago but never got round to it, so it wont be as fresh in the mind as i hoped. Well a few weeks ago i was passing through the area thought id go visit my God Daughter who i learned upon arriving wasnt well, so i ended up staying for a bit and playing with her all day. We made Play-doh pizza, we played with Thomas the tank engine and friends toys which basically was she would make things and id use the the trains to crash into them.

And this whole argument for about 15 minutes on how she is a monkey, and how she isnt and how i am, she kept using me as a climbing frame, so i kept calling her a monkey then curious george came on tv so i kept calling her George the Monkey, which then she was like no your George the monkey, this went on for ages oh must remind you she is 3 haha. Then just before i was going i started to sneeze then i looked at her and went YOUUUUU made me sick, she just laughed and threw a teddy at me lol

Then the following day i had a run in with a kids at this family get together, its these ones that think there entitled because of who there dad is (send me a email if you wanna know the deal behind why im not disclosing why in this post lol) anyway this one thinks he is already one of the boys he was about 9 i think, and he comes in and wants to play xbox as we are playing Fifa me and my friend were trying to do one of the accomplishment but he took the controller out of his hands and is talking a big game, so we see how he plays and lets face it he is rubbish but he is 9 so i let him score a goal and he continues talking thrash he going omg your losing to a 9 year old, so i think fuck it this kid needs a life lesson lol, and go on to destroy this kid 12-1 each time he tried to pass the controller to someone else just as a escape which none of us let him do that so he had to take his loss.

During this epic beat down he brought up topics of discussion to brag about himself, he brought up, "do you do cross country?" everyone all said no, he goes well i do and "im the fastest in my year" i think he was expecting a big response as everyone else was just oh is it good for you, and then carried on with what we were doing, then he followed up with "im also the third fastest in my year" which lead to me saying "hang on, how are you the first and third fastest in your year? did you have a race with a group of kids, and you game in first and your Shadow came in third?" rather than comment on his error, he went on the defensive, he used the tactic that i only think works in primary schools, he went the route of my dad is better than your dad route, he started with "My dad has a car" which my friend responds yeh well my Brother has a Car and a Motorbike, to which he responded "yeh well My dad has tv's in his car", to which we all said good for him but that's besides the point you and your shadow run along. There's some stuff we all wanted to say but choose not to. Again if you wanna know email me or tweet me you know how to reach me lol

Oh should point out that during this whole time dealing with this kid, he was under the impression that my name was Derek i dunno why i choose that name it was the first name that popped up into my head, and my other friends went under different aliases aswell we had Hardeep and Mike lol.

I was meant post a blog before this about the events that occurred over the weekend but ill get round to doing that another time, but onto this weeks comic books, had to go out twice in order to do this, i thought i could pick up a parcel and then go pick up my comics and get some food from sainsburys all in one go, turns out i couldn't as what i had to pick up from Parcel Force was the new Sky HD digibox now i could of still done all i had to do in one go but i didn't wanna be carrying a digibox around with me on the chance that i might drop it and damage the internal hard drive. So i got home installed it and activated it on a non HDtv lol. Then went out and picked up this weeks comic books.

Justice League #2 This is pretty annoying i learnt that unlike the rest of the comics i pick up, this isnt running monthly but every 6 weeks, its annoying cause im really into the story lol.

Batman #2 They had a variant cover available to buy, but again i couldnt justify paying £4.99 for it so i just got the regular cover. Placed the variant cover below, however i prefer the regular cover better, but lemme know which you think is better.

This weeks comics were bought after a group interview which mentioned in my last post for something i didnt remember even applying for, and it was a terrible interview in which a annoying girl wouldnt shut up and let anyone else talk, so it was no suprise when they asked her to come back for a one on one interview, Also this week was the first time i came home and just read my comics straight away.

Also you may notice in this weeks posts that the comics have a white back board and clear plastic over them because ive started bagging and boarding the comics i buy. I could of got these cheaper possibly online or if i searched around but i couldnt be bothered so i got them at the first place nearest to me.

Yesterday i was dropping my dad off at the airport, and we were getting something to eat before he left for his gate, we ate in this restaurant in the airport and i got a bacon cheeseburger with chips which ended up costing £12. For £12 i expected better, i could of had a better burger in other places like the Gourmet Burger Kitchen where the food is served on a plate and not a chopping board,

Goodbye Social Life (for at least a week)

Bought this earlier today, FIFA 12, its safe to say my social life is dead for at least a week, this is based on amount of time spent playing FIFA 10, and 11 on days of release put in a huge amount of time into these games. Did have a chuckle when i was in the queue about to buy this, some kid was in the line behind me panicking about not having enough money to buy the game, muttering to himself hoping he the game he was going to trade in was enough to cover the money he was short on. Im still wondering how no one questioned him why he isnt in school?

Also this heat wave is so lame, its so hot i can barely think or function, last couple of days ive been in and out of the shower making it rain cold water, Its too hot to feel comfortable, cant wait for it to get cooler or even pour down with rain, i will gladly walk about in the rain.

Pretty much finished with the painting of my room, and now fixed with the task of putting all my stuff back where it was, which i generally cant be bothered to do right now, just gonna go sleep, and weirdly this paint appears to be solvent free, sigh lol

So someone in my house had the bright idea that the whole house needed painting, thus inconveniencing everyone in this house, most importantly inconveniencing me, which was the case a while back when against my wishes i was told i was to have laminate flooring. Which meant as was the case this time round clearing things and moving things out of my room, which also nearly killed me cause of all the build up dust on top the shelves making it difficult for me to breath being a Asthmatic. So after removing things from my room my room actually looks like i am moving out cause its so empty. I suppose it did need painting if u can see the blotches of paint on the wall in which my mum claimed it was the same paint but it wasnt and wanted me to blot over the white marks on the wall. Dont think you'll notice any difference to the pictures below when my room is finished being painted, as im pretty much painting the wall blue again just a different shade.

I did find some random things that i forgot i owned, images below include my PSP, i cant even turn it on anymore cause i cant find a charger for it and also i went through 2 chargers one burnt out, and one literally caught fire. A Ali G book which was given to me as a Christmas present which is terrible to think i once found that funny. Lots of wrestling figures, and some Random albums such as the Roger Sanchez First Contact album which i have, but im pretty sure i only liked one song on the album, which ive posted a youtube video of it at the bottom.

anyway while you listen to that, ill get back to painting, and getting high on paint fumes =p

Yesterday i got in trouble for something i didn't do, although it was rather funny, I was at a House Warming party, and my two God Daughters were in attendance lol and my younger God Daughter who wasnt well, but was still playing and took off her shoes to play and then put them back on later the wrong way round so left shoe on right foot and Right Shoe on Left Foot, i think she put them on quickly to go back outside to see a rainbow, now i was at the back garden when this was all going on, and they all ran out the front door to see the Rainbow. Now this is when all the guys outside had noticed that she has her shoes on the wrong way, and they were telling her to change them back, and she didnt care, and i would like to say i encouraged and supported her decision to have her shoes on the wrong way. Everyone went back inside, and then her mum spotted her shoes were on the wrong way after about 5 minutes when she came back inside, and this is when apparently its my fault for her shoes being on the wrong way, and some how i put her shoes on the wrong way, and then went inside the front room telling everyone of what supposedly did lol. Which i stated i didnt do it, and that im not gonna tell her its wrong cause i supported that she made a life decision lol.

Then about 20 minutes later her shoes are still on the wrong way which i pointed out to her mum, "you yell at me that her shoes are on the wrong way, yet its been over 20 minutes and you havn't fixed her shoes" this brought laughter to those around, and then while her mum was changing her shoes round decided to tell my God Daughter how bad i was for putting her shoes on the wrong way, and then i asked her "who put your shoes on?" and "did i put your shoes on?", and then her mum did the same, and "Did Ninong Manny put your shoes on?" and its a good thing she didnt lie lol, cause she shook her head and said no, confirming i didnt do it lol, and then when asked who put them on, she pointed at herself. Which i claimed that everyone needs apologize for these slanderous claims are they will be hearing from my Lawyer lol. And i love when i get to use this phrase, cause theres this extra smugness of when you say it,

During the 20 minutes, we were watching the children play Boxing on the Nintendo Wii and thought it would be funny to place bets on them lol, 5p bets.

On the way home, a group of us were walking home towards the train station, im trying to check the football scores on my phone but my phone seemed to hate where we were, cause i had no signal for the majority of the day, and then suddenly the group started to separate during the long walk to the station. My God Daughter trying to yell that the front two to wait for us, but it sounded like a little mouse trying to get someones attention. But once we turned the corner into the final straight towards the station, i asked realistically without running would it be possible to catch up with the two infront that had suddenly went ahead really far, "they said yea but Auntie has her trainers on so thats why she is going really fast" which i responded "do they have lightning bolts on them too cause if thats the case then i have no chance"

So i decided i was going to overtake them without acknowledging them and carry on towards the station and claim victory. Which i did i walked with big strides, and gradually started to catch up with them, and then overtook them just as we reached the station, and then turned round and yelled i won! i had beaten a speedy Grandma and her Gran Daughter to the station, which they explained on the train, that the child wanted to be the first one at the station, which i looked at her, and said but you wasnt tho, cause i was lol.

As well as winning the walking race to the station i had learnt that my God Daughter also loves Trains, well Thomas the Tank Engine. Her mum was telling me that she loves it, and wanted a Thomas the Tank Engine boarder for her bedroom, and that she is always watching it, i told her she should of brought her to my house cause the other day, i wasted 5 hours watching Thomas the Tank Engine and friends a few days ago.

Dont Talk To Strangers

I dunno maybe i was highly irritable yesterday morning, was suited up and heading to a recruitment event, what i wasnt told was that it was strictly for managerial roles, but more on that later. Anyway the quickest way to get there was by bus, and i did just that, a bit during the journey this guy gets on the bus, notices that im going to the exact same event, taps me on shoulder and without even giving me time to turn around pulls the headphones right out of my ear.

Then proceeds to tell me his life story, i didnt have a problem with that he was just being friendly however its the way he spoke, i dunno it may just be me, but i get really annoyed when someone uses the word Basically and Obviously more than once to in a sentence, the more they use it the more it becomes apparent that is neither Basic or Obvious, and adding yeah to the end of both these words doesnt help my annoyance, However ive now found a way of dealing with this, my brain just shuts down and stops listening.

Then off the bus we were walking towards the venue where the event was being held, and this is the part that really bugged me, because i would never act like this, hence why i think this guy is clearly the polar opposite of myself, we were walking towards the venue when two very pretty girls walk past, and he proceeds to lean infront of me and towards them and stare at them, seriously what type of game is that? surely that would scare off girls rather than make them talk to you? Then when these girls ran for their lives (i dunno if they did i just assume they did) he proceeded to tell me his philosophy on girls, you can get any girl when your wearing a suit, you just tell them anything like and they'll believe you, like say your accountant and they believe you. Seriously does he think all women are stupid? surely a women with a brain will see through his bullshit.

Anyway enough of that clown, i got told the wrong information about this recruitment event, i thought it was for all roles but it was only managerial roles, so just handed out some cv's and attended a seminar about killer interviews, then collected some freebies, got some pens, and some stuff from Swarovski that i gave to my mum, and a 20% of coupon at Footlocker.

To conclude this post its probably best to follow what you were told when you were a young child, That being, "dont talk to strangers."

This past summer i got back into reading Comic Books, primarily Green Lantern, i found issues dating back to issue 1 of then the current series of Green Lantern volume 4 according to the Internet which went back to 2005 and i read up to the present, and i also read this series called Flashpoint, but now i can properly get back into comic books with the DC Comics reboot in which some of the titles are starting back at issue 1 and retelling the story and freshening things up, making this the best time to start from fresh reading comics books.

I've picked up a few of the new comic books, i dont intend on reading all the new books as thats going to be rather expensive. But i am going to post images of the front covers of the comic books i pick up every Wednesday. This week was the last week i decided to go to my local comic book shop which was walking distance from my place, i went to my local comic book shop to pick up the first 3 comics however they didnt have Batman Detective Comics, so i picked up Superman Action Comics and Justice League International from there, and then went to another comic book shop to pick up Batman Detective Comics from Forbidden Planet, while i was there i picked up another book, and found that these were 80p cheaper than the local comic book shop, i dunno how my local comic book shop can justify selling a comic book that has the price written on it in Dollars $2.99 for £2.99,

Summer Movies

This past summer i paid and watched alot of movies, more than ive ever done, in the past, and some movies i saw twice cause i liked them so much. This current list of films started towards the end of May, Some of these may contain Spoilers but if you havnt seen it by now your not going to, and of course if you intend on seeing them just dont read it.

Thor, I saw thor a few days before a exam i dunno why, just felt like it i needed to, i never really liked Thor as a comic book character also not really a big fan of Marvel comics (oh also this summer i got back into comics lol), but Marvel films are always a good watch, i liked Thor maybe just because it was about smashing shit up with a hammer, which just sounds really fun and cause i wanted to yell im the God of Thunder and also smash stuff with a Hammer. Im probably going to pick it up on DVD when it comes out. When i saw this movie someone outside set off the fire alarm during the movie and it got stopped and on the way out was given a free cinema ticket cause the movie got disrupted. Also saw this in 3D totally not worth seeing in 3D would have enjoyed that more.

Fast 5 Wasn't sure if i was gonna like this when i saw it, and if you thought about it literally the shit that happens at the end just seems impossible and would also kill thousands of people, but i suppose its one of those movies in which you switch your brain off and just enjoy it. Also their is a shirt one of the cast is wearing in the movie that i wanted at the time, i think it was a white shirt and along the shoulder was a championship belt it just looked cool lol.

The Hangover 2, i loved this movie haha, its a little darker than the first movie, but the grime of it all was just too funny, it was so funny that i saw it twice, and still found it incredibly funny the second time round, I saw this film the first time on its opening night which the only seats available was at the front, so the neck strain and all, the second time round i saw it the week after it was released in pretty much a empty cinema screen. Im gonna pick this one up on DVD also hopefully pick it up with the first dvd in a boxset. The best quote in that movie had to be by Alan “When a monkey nibbles on a penis, it’s funny in any language.”

Green Lantern another movie i really enjoyed although thats mainly cause im a Green Lantern fan, and have been reading a lot of the comics all summer long, many critics didn't like it, but i liked it, i did have a few issues with it, and it was the two bad guys, Hector Hammond just looked like a Giant Testicle when he got infected with Parallax, and Parallax itself that just looked like Diahoera cloud with dreadlocks when in the comics it resembles a yellow dragon type thing. Otherwise it was a good origin story of Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Also saw this in 3D probably would have enjoyed it the same amount in 2D didnt really notice the 3D. Tomorrow ill be picking up Green Lantern #1 the first issue of the series in the DC new 52 reboots. I think every Wednesday im gonna take a image of the front covers of the comic books i picked up and attach them to this blog, as i find the the front cover designs really cool.

Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon I saw this twice as well it was good but again i only liked it cause it was robots destroying other robots, the girl replacing Megan Fox was Hot and resembled Cameron Diaz in the mask, but she is no Megan Fox. The final fight just seemed very quick, especially how in the last two films Optimus Prime nearly died fighting Megatron, in the third film Optimus Prime with one arm defeated Megatron in a matter of seconds by ripping his spinal cord or robot spinal cord or something out lol. Both times i saw this in 3D and both times i wasnt all that impressed, was just used to give texture to the robots and occasionally have debris fly around.

X-Men First Class: i saw this a few weeks after its initial release and i think i saw it right after Transformers, i kinda liked it, it was a good origin story, but i am now judging xmen on wether or not Gambit is involved, if there is no card throwing im generally not interested now. Also Professor X when he uses his power looks as if he straining to do a poo and it wont come out, theres no other way to describe that look either lol, Also the death of Kevin Bacon in this film was disgusting lol, i thought Magneto was going to throw the coin through his head quickly like he had been doing earlier in the film to show off his rage, but the coin went through his head slowly and made it look more gruesome.

Horrible Bosses: Another film i just loved and saw twice, it was so funny, all the characters were funny and ridiculous in their own way, and lets be serious if everyone had a boss as hot as Jennifer Aniston i dont think many people would be saying no to her very forward advances, and in many cases they would be the ones harassing her rather than her harassing her employee's. definitely one im going pick up and watch again on DVD, and surely there will be more funnier deleted scenes, im hoping for a extended version lol but that wont happen lol

Captain America The First Avenger, another awesome movie, i tried to stay away from this trailer cause i didnt want to see anything so it would be fresh when i eventually saw it, that didnt happen, although it didnt take from what i saw, I found it really funny how much of dweeb Chris Evans looked before they gave him the experimental super solider serum he seriously looked ill, and when they did give him the serum he looked steroided up, and the extra scene your normally used to seeing with Marvel movies was scrapped and replaced with mini trailer for the upcoming avengers movie, which all the recent marvel movies have been building to and i cant wait to see it next summer, it looks awesome. But man if you saw Captain America just how long were the Credits just to see this mini trailer for the avengers cause it felt like forever.

Super 8, i came out of this movie not only enjoying it, but also with the song My Sharona by the Knack stuck in my head and constantly saying something was mint, as this film is set in i want to say the 80s, i really liked this film as it was basically a another version of the film Son of Rambo in which kids are making a movie, a well produced one considering that they are kids, that is also the fun part during the credits you see the film that they actually made. The film is also similar to Cloverfield only i think they did it better.

Rise of The Planet of the Apes, Now this film was awesome i dunno how they managed to convey it, but you actually feel a connection with the lead monkey, as he grows up on screen to become a bigger ape, with enhanced intelligence. and their is one ugly arse orangutang in this movie who can communicate with the lead ape in sign language which was pretty cool, There is one moment in this film which made the annoying woman who was sitting behind me who kept moving or kicking my chair, yell WOW like a child, and thats when the lead monkey first speaks, well yells a word lol, but the second time yelled WOW again when he spoke sentences, but this was really weird cause if ive havnt spoken in ages my voice just sounds all crackled and weird, and this Ape sounded like James Earl Jones ( the voice of Darth Vader, the voice of Simba's dad in the Lion King, and one of my favourite films Coming to America where he plays King Jaffe Joffer Ruler of Zamunda) The ending looked like they were building towards a sequel which seemed to resemble a old film called Outbreak, which i remember watching during a history lesson and me and my friends got the teacher to rewind the part where the monkey gets shot a number of times, lol

The Inbetweeners movie: This was the best way to end the summer movie fest that i had, cause i loved the tv series and this is pretty much a extended version of the tv series. Now many will go oh how could you like that its just stupid, but i think its the show most people that went to 6th form in England can kind of relate to if your a guy that is, Cause you all had one friend in school that was like one of the characters, either one is a proper thicko, a chronic liar, someone delusional in love with self esteem issues or just a twat who thinks he is above those around him, and all of them a little bit awkward lol. As expected seeing as their is loads of quotes from the tv series that always make me laugh, and yes i will be picking this up on DVD as soon as it comes out.

Columbiana: This really isnt a summer movie, seeing as i did see it the other day, So i wont give away too much other than its awesome, Zoe Saldana is incredibly hot and before going into this i did mistaker her for Thandie Newton who is also pretty damn hot, The is one line in it where the line "I want to be a killer" is used which catches you well of guard and makes you giggle given the circumstances of how it is said. Which me and my friend randomly could you imagine saying that at a Careers interview: So what kind of Job field are you interested in, erm Murder?, Im Interested in Health Services Mainly death, these suggestions when on for good 10 minutes lol.

The one big film i didnt see this summer and i know should of but i never got round to it, and that was the final Harry Potter movie just something i will end up again picking up on DVD, thinking about it im gonna be buying alot of DVD's in the coming months,

I think my favourite films this summer were the comedies, id have to put Horrible Bosses first and then tied for second The Inbetweeners and The Hangover 2.

As for the Action Movies i can rank those, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Captain America, Green Lantern, Thor, Transformers 3 and Last cause there was no Gambit i put X-Men. Thought both Captain America, Green Lantern and Thor was a waste of time in 3D firstly it wasnt shot in 3D it was converted to 3D, id rather had seen them in 2D. Transformers was shot in 3D but other than falling debris and giving the impression of perspective distance i didnt see the point of this film in 3D, i think this need to put everything in 3D just make a bit extra at the box office is annoying and id hope it will stop, but with the introduction of 3D televisions i dont think it will.

Next week im gonna be seeing Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy which looks to be awesome and from the trailer i can already sense there is gonna be some kind of twist involved so i must stay alert during this one, May do a double header that day and watch the Change up seems pretty funny from the trailers the typical freaky friday type premise.

Thomas The Tank Engine

I suddenly got addicted to watching Thomas the tank Engine after watching a Live at the Apollo last week, one of the comedians made a joke about himself he used to like watching Thomas the tank engine so when raising his son he made him watch Thomas and his son started to like it and in turn he started to like Thomas again. The mention of Thomas was enough for me to youtube it and wow a load of episodes of Thomas was uploaded onto there, im talking from series 1 from the 80s which had some of the episodes ive seen, i remember having some of these on video and i used to watch them alot, and their was many uploaded on youtube that i havn't seen, and i managed to watch series 1 and 2 in one evening.

I would have thought the nostalgia would have worn off but no, the next couple of days ive been working my way through the rest of the episodes online, im currently midway through series 8, yup ive wasted a huge amount of time watching these online, they are only 5-6 minutes long a episode which doesnt sound like a large amount of time but when you start adding it up its a huge amount of time, So far ive watched 200 episodes of thomas the tank engine which is sad lol. But ever since Ringo Starr stopped narrating the series the trains suddenly started getting strange accents which made me laugh eg James the red train became a scouser. Also i don't understand these trains constantly seeking the approval of the Fat Controller, who will say his phrase that really makes them happy, "you are a really useful engine"

Below is one of the episodes that i enjoyed of the episodes that i havnt seen and this is sad, and i have about 120 more to watch, i really should stop as i do have some of the music in the series stuck in my head at times, but i cant lol what i really mean to say is,

One Long Day

Warning: before you read this post i just want to point out that this is probably my worst typed blog post ever cause i was half asleep when typing this and i have no intention of adding to it or editing it so expect more than the usual bad grammar and spelling that go with my blog posts and also expect large chunks of the text not making much sense cause it seemed right in my head at the time of writing this.

I knew going into today it was gonna be one very long day, and it was mostly self inflicted as most of troubles on this blog are, this time i stayed up for the New York Jets game, which the programming started at about 1am so about 11 i thought lemme try and get some sleep in now prior to the game cause i have to be up at 8:30 the next day so i set my phone alarm for 1:15am which didnt seem to work i got up on my own about 2am. when i woke up the game was already in full motion, and the Jets were losing at the time, and it didnt really help matters and i spent most of the time in a frustrated mood cause the Jets were very much losing the whole game till the very end, when the Jets won 27-24 on the 10th Anniversary of 9-11, the buzz of watching how the events of winning unfolded left me in a state where i couldnt sleep for another hour, so the game finished at around 5, and i couldnt get to sleep till well after 6.

So i got a couple of hours sleep although i was having some pretty weird dreams that i kept waking up every now and again, got up at 8:30 had a quick shower and got out the door at 9, for a 9:30 appointment, well i thought i was gonna be straight out the door, however i had no keys, now 2 hours of sleep i instantly thought i had lost my keys, however i know this has happened before so i told my dad who was at home at the time but was going out also, to lock the door behind me and call my mum and see if she had taken my keys, which she did. So the original plan was if i had keys was go to my appointment, then go back home and get in a power nap and go back out again at 11:45 to the movies to watch Columbiana, but nope i had to take out the power nap and pick up my keys, which if you read my blogs in the past i do tend to if i havnt slept much or properly will fall asleep to the gentle rocking of the bus and occasionally drool on myself lol. Not the case today however, i managed to get my keys without falling asleep, got home splashed some cold water on my face and then sat down for a few mins before having to go out again.

At this point i dont know how i was functioning, very much felt like a zombie walking to the bus stop to meet my friend and go to the cinema, i said in a text that i felt like my body was running on autopilot and that i was running on reserve energy or emergency energy to get me through the day, and my friend fully expected me to fall asleep in the movie, but i assumed if i did the surround sound of the gunshots in this movie would wake me up if i did, and cause me to jump lol. It didnt i stayed very much awake in this movie and it was a really good movie too. I saw alot of movies this summer which ill probably get round to blogging about soon,

So after the movie i had a couple of beers which really i shouldnt have done as it made me more tired which was the case when i finally got home, i just crashed out and slept for a few hours, got up to have dinner and now im gonna try and go back to sleep!

Cant find my belt, gonna have to use this...

Had a job interview the other day which meant break out the one and only suit, which i happened to sweat it up the last time i was wearing it, before you even think eww you went into a interview with a sweaty suit, i had it dry cleaned the day after.

There was a moment when i couldnt find a proper belt, well i found two belts but i couldnt wear either with a black suit or a interview, not sure it be a good idea to wear a white quicksilver belt with some writing on it and skulls on it, or the exact same belt in black with highlighter blue. So just for a joke i did this lol till i found a actual belt.

Would you hire me if i turned up with my World Heavyweight Title around my waist lol? I would but thats just me literally lol. However if you didn't hire me you'd run the risk of me going all WWE contract signing which is flipping the table over and fighting LOL.

The Dick Badge

I was going to include this story in the last post but that post was already so long as it is, that i had to give this its own post consider it a bonus post, i mentioned that my cousin was saying that i would always be taken to some other room to have fun with Andrea (yea still wrong) and my cousin would be left with the troublesome kids.

and when i was retelling this story to my cousin we were both cracking up because we both remember the guy involved, and he would always be in trouble, it was incredible the amount of times he would get in trouble. On this occasion i wasnt separated from the rest of the group, but each pack was separated into groups for activities and in my group was this very trouble maker who was sitting right next to me, and Andrea wasnt leading the activity it was as my cousin described stern faced Rachel lol which he seemed to like more cause it was almost harder to get the approval of.

Anyway i dunno why this dude was so pissed off this day, he was moaning i think he may have been crying at one point, but he was incredibly pissed. Which led to the funniest thing ever, its sad that even to this day i still find this well funny, and when your 8 this is even more funnier. The task was design your own badge, i dont remember what i drew but in this story it aient important, but this dude pissed off as he was did draw something lol, (cracking up just writing about it) he drew a dick and balls in a triangle (the shape of the badge) and called it the Dick Badge, lol and said he would award it to Rachel, Dave (the deputy Arkela) and Andrew (The Arkela) this had to be one of the most funniest moments in my time at Cub Scouts.

The Entertainment Badge

I got reminded of this the other day when my cousin randomly came over and started talking about the past, which is great but does make you feel incredibly old. Im gonna say this post probably wont be as funny to you as it is to me lol.

We spoke about how we learnt how to play football for some youth football team in around Tottenham, clearly wasnt the case as i reminded him the team at only 2 good players and the only time you would touch the ball would be if these 2 good players lost it lol, i learnt my trade playing football outside his house, where we would have to occasionally stop for pedestrians.

But what we seemed to focus on these conversations was our time in Cub Scouts, i joined shortly after him as my mum thought it was a good idea for me to go as well, and it was as it was fun, however my cousin was telling me how he was so jealous of the fact that i was award many activity badges, so many that i had two lines of badges on my sleeve, which my cousin said he tried getting his mum to stitch his badges in rows like mine even tho he didnt have that many. Really wish my mum kept it, so i could have post a picture of it, but like all my old clothes its got shipped in a box to Philippines. Picture below is what the uniform looks looks like today, mine looked different lol.

Anyway my cousin claimed i got so many badges because Andrea the Arkela's (the guy who was in charge) daughter who would help out in Cub Scouts loved me and i was also in love with her at the time (leave me alone i was 8 lol but at 8 years old and had the eye for the ladies, Go on 8 year old Manny woo woo woo you know it!) would always take me and a few others in a seperate room to do different activities (this just sounds worse and worse) which would result in us getting more badges, lame badges as they were pretty lame activities but non the less more badges. While he would be left with the troublesome kids. (theres another story linked to this which i will tell at the end) I got my orienteering badge, first aid badge, i think the badge i was most proud of was when the Arkela asked if i would participate in a swimming gala, which i did and got a badge of it lol. All about obtaining loads of badges, i think this is where my Gamerscore on xbox live has sprung about, doesnt matter how you get these achievement points just get them, its quantity not quality lol.

I left Cub Scouts before my cousin, as it became a hastle for my mum to take me there every Monday, after school. Also cause i was never given my Seconders badge lol sad but true im sure thats how i remember it, during my time there the original leader of our pack left and my cousin became the leader of our pack, there were 6 packs, and we were in the pack that wore yellow plastic bit to do up our Cub scouts Scarfs, and i became the seconder pretty much the second in command. But the Arkela never had the badge to award to me, this happened for weeks he would order it and it would never arrive so i stopped going lol.

But the badge he claims that still haunts him to this day was the Entertainment Badge, i dont even remember how i got this badge, but it must have been lame just looking how it looks. so i had to look it up on their website. The badge has changed since the time i got it but more searching around and i had found it.

To gain this badge, Cub Scouts must complete two of the following:

Help to make up a mime or play and perform it.

Perform a puppet play or shadowgraph using puppets which you have made.

Help to plan and make an entertainment recorded on video or audiotape.

Sing two songs.

Perform some folk or traditional dances.

Make a selection of simple rhythm instruments and use them as accompaniments.

Tell a story to an audience.

Make up and perform a dance to a piece of music of your choice.

Help plan and perform a series of magic tricks.

Take part in a show, concert or band performance.

Yeh, i look at that and i could have easily done any of those, little ashamed of 8 year old Manny now lol, and i would like to rule out perform folk or traditional dance but again ashamed of the younger version of Manny, my mum aswell as sending me to Cub Scouts, and various other things, she sent me to Sylvia Young Theatre school i dunno why she did this cause it was rather expensive and i didnt like it much anyway, as it meant getting up early on a Saturday and missing tv shows, to do Drama and Tap dancing, although i did have one audition for some commercial cant remember now.

But anyway that entertainment badge if i was trying to obtain that today i think i would have told a story cause im good at that and probably helped make a video lol. I still to this day dont understand why my cousin hates that badge but growing up whenever we would sleep over at each others houses his thing would always be to steal your blanket or duvet in the night, which he claims he has done still to this day at 25, but no one else but myself understands the funnyness of this theft. But i told him one day, im gonna break into his house and the only thing missing will be his blanket, and my calling card which will be a blown up version of the Entertainment Badge on his wall or beside him, like a true movie or tv villain.

This video made me laugh when i was linked to it, but it also made me hungry, now im eating up some chocolate chip cookies, no milk, soda or chips though lol.

Also since im talking about food, might aswell make this a food post, i went to pizza hut earlier today and devoured a BBQ American pizza or whatever they called it, it had chicken, bacon and sweetcorn while a light covering of BBQ sauce was delicious but thats not what im posting about, im posting about Pizza huts sneaky promotion, that if you want to take part in you will have to go back to claim your prize. Paul Scholes Testimonial

Yesterday was in a long car journey to Manchester, more importantly to Old Trafford home of Manchester United, To watch Paul Scholes Testimonial game of Manchester United vs The New York Cosmos.

Edit: Failed to mention, i had bought these tickets i think in early June, knowing full well this would be a early birthday present to myself, and it certainly was!

When i say it was a long drive it was about 200 or so miles and about a 3 hour and 30 minute drive although made a bit longer with all the stop start traffic on the M6 and even more exhausting cause of the heat that day, it wasnt as hot as previous days in London, but when your the car is stationary and the Sunlight is shining on you its gonna make you pretty tired. We eventually got there and what a sight Old Trafford is.

Below on the north stand was a mosaic that said Genius however it didnt come out as well as it did when i took a picture of it so i added the picture that was on the Manchester United Facebook page aswell.

The game itself was awesome, finished 6-0, but started off with what Scholes does best, striking the ball from outside the penalty area and beating the keeper and scoring, A Scholesy Trademark a Scholesy Special, he scored this right infront of my end of the Stadium, again it was awesome, had to find the video on youtube.

Wayne Rooney scored a penalty which again was on my end, and the rest of goals came in the second half, one of which my friend found funny, a Mexican wave started in the stadium shortly after the third goal, we saw the first few in the North stand fail, and then one fully took off, i took part in the first one, but when the second one came about and i wasnt paying attention cause we were attacking the goal again, as the wave passed me by, Danny Welbeck slotted another one in the goal, and i got up with my arms raised and went weheyyyy lol my friend just looked at me as if i was late for the mexican wave rather than celebrating on my feet for the goal cause he had been watching the wave go round lol. The game ended and Paul Scholes gave a farewell speech, and then we left started to leave the stadium well tried to leave the stadium lol, we got outside of the stadium and then it took ages before we got to the car park. Was a bunch of people moving in opposite directions trying to go though some tiny gap.

We eventually got to the car and started to make the drive home, which was alot quicker as soon as we got out of Manchester, and made great time as there was hardly any traffic at that time. Actually fell asleep towards the end of the drive, i was trying my best to stay awake, however that was not the case just proper fell asleep and didnt even hear my phone ringing, my friend said it was ringing for a while but he didnt wanna wake me up. Got home just after 2am, all that traveling however was well worth it!

Edit: Also failed to mention how i got to sleep as soon as i got home, which was about 2:15, 10 minutes after walking through my front door, and i didnt get up till 1am today, i havnt done that in ages! as i cant actually be bothered to close my curtains when i go to bed the sun or generally just day light normally shines through my window and normally wakes me up regardless of what time i sleep around 8 or 9 am

Emirates Cup

Went to the Emirates Stadium today, to watch the Emirates cup, saw two matches Boca Juniors vs PSG which was a awesome game, finished with PSG winning 3-0 and a awesome finish which a amazing free kick goal.

And then saw the New York Red Bulls draw with Arsenal 1-1 to go on and win the Emirates Cup, pretty awesome stuff,

Should note i was starving during this whole time lol of about 4 hours of sitting in the stadium and watching football and not helped with the expensive prices of food at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, and also not helped with the smell of this food around me, midway through the second game my stomach started grumbling lol, i beast feasted it at the end of the game, got a Chicken Burger with Cheese and Bacon and 6 Chicken Wings, would have got a beef burger but the place we went said they had no beef, say whaaaaaaat lol

The Justice Desk is growing, joining Eric Cantona, Superduck and Green Lantern Hal Jordan is Bumblebee from Transformers and Captain Britain who until recently i did not know existed he is part of the Marvel Captain America universe.

Side note: Bumblebee does transform into a car, but transforming him isnt easy lol, took me two days, one day of sheer frustration of why cant i do this, and being mocked by others claiming children would be able to do this in quicker time, and then telling myself bumblebee looks better as a robot alien anyway. Then i spent most of the afternoon on Friday trying to transform Bumblebee which i think i kinda did that day, as you can see in the picture below he looks like it the car was caught in a crash.

Super Unicorn?

So im in the pub the other night, with friends and walked in with £20 and left with about £12 which is really weird thing i had only 2 drinks that night, feels so weird to go home with majority of my money and more importantly sober. I could just end the blog post right here, However i cant just leave the post here without mentioning that we found colouring pencils really rubbish ones, and i kept calling them crayons despite knowing they were pencils
lol. (theres a green in that packet in the picture below just didnt come out well in the photo it was dark)

Then others found the activity sheets with a space at the back to do some drawing, in which a unicorn drawing contest started, just picture 24 year olds drawing in a bar on a saturday night to see how this is rather funny lol and thats where all the laughter started from criticizing the two drawings as one looked like it had a camels face, whilst the other had chest hair. Then a group effort started equipping the bearded unicorn.

Yes, yes that unicorn does spit hot fire, and have magical poo and has a lazer that shoots from its horn lol the Lazer was probably my only contribution.

Also can you can guess what this is? there was a large debate on what it was, ill give you what the actual answer is in future post lol.

Found a really old picture the other night, you can tell how old it is as it was taken when i actually have a full head of hair lol. It was taken at Madame Tussauds and the wax works in the picture if you dont know is former Prime Minister Tony Blair and former President George W Bush lol. Seriously dunno what i was thinking at the time when this photo was taken and the cheesy thumbs up pose at the podium for a press conference looking scene but its still pretty damn funny lol.

Thinking about it, could you imagine myself in a position of power, and how much trouble the world would be in during my reign lol. Of course at first it would be fun but then like the Kaiser Chiefs, i predict a Riot.

Yup its a Green Lantern figure, which is the current collection of Comic Books ive obtained online and are reading very slowly it seems cause i think my inner reading voice in my head bores me and makes me fall asleep lol.

Virtual Manny

Should of really posted this months ago, but i never actually got round to it. Ive been playing games done by EA Sports which have this nice feature that allows you to import your face into the game. Its called gameface, and its exactly what i did, i took 2 Photos one of the front of my face and the other the side of my face, then it generates into a 3D image and this is what i was the result of it
Which looks really cool as it kinda looks like me although it does have a dodgy hairline and a dodgy nose where one side is higher than the other lol, I then imported it into the game i was playing the most Fifa 11, in which it becomes the face of your Virtual Pro, however this time it looks nothing like me when imported into Fifa.

Whereas using the same images in a game that i bought months ago Fight Night Champion, it produced a much better 3D model and looks more like me, but at the time i didnt take a direct image of the outcome, but did take a snapshot of the boxer with my face on it in a match i did take a little bit of joy that my Virtual boxer with my face was destroying David Haye lol.

And scanning my videos on youtube did manage to find some uploaded video of Manny vs David Haye on Fight Night Champion haha

This picture does look like they could have been some form of prison tattoos, or a really lame Mike Tyson tattoo lol.

Keep Calm

Ive seen this poster a bunch of times, walking around noticing it appear in Vintage shops, or pretty much any touristy type attraction as they have this slogan that was intended during the war to raise the morale of the British public in the event of invasion (Thank you wikipedia) now found on pretty much anything, mugs, t-shirts, postcards and any other form of memorabilia or merchandise.

Ive been seeing plays on the original Keep Calm and Carry On Posters on twitter and just appearing on peoples uploads to facebook for a while now, and didnt think nothing of it, until i saw someone post a Doctor Who Poster,

Which got me thinking i gotta find one of those posters, or make one of those posters to suit me, but i couldnt actually be bothered to actually make one cause its finding the right Font and then getting the right size and positioning. But then i found a site that had loads of parodies on the original Keep Calm and Carry On Poster. So i ran a Search for Awesome, and found a few, and ive added those below.

But i thought to myself something is missing, So now that i had something to work with i made a couple of my own,

I kept the overall image black cause the yellow M, which also had a black background so it would be easier to just make the whole background black.

This may be one of the most colourful blog posts ive ever done lol, Anyway im gonna leave this post as it is now as its getting late, dunno why i said that for two reasons, 1. I dont actually have anything to do tomorrow so the time i go to sleep is irrelevant so i get to sleep in, and 2. even though its 1am i will be scheduling this post to occur at 9am Monday morning. I saw the Hangover 2 a couple of weeks ago on the first day of its UK release, and that night it was packed, so packed that the group of 5 of us could only sit together if we sat at the front, or sat at a strange angle on the edges, we ended up opting for the front, which i dont think i have done since i was a child, i was so slouched into the chair to avoid hurting my neck looking up at the screen, you actually forget how big Cinema screens are and how much they can blind you, as the Hangover 2 makes use of a few fade to white shots which murder my eyes. However regardless of the seats the film is still hilarious. So hilarious that i just had to see it again, and i did.

i used my Free ticket that i had got a month before when someone pressed the fire alarm interupting the movie i was watching at the time which was Thor (note if you see Thor see it in regular 2D, not worth watching it in 3D) When i handed the lady the free ticket she looked at me as if im some kind of criminal interrogating me on how i obtained that ticket. Anyway after the interrogation, i did eventually watch the movie again yesterday lunch time, and as i expected the cinema was empty which is awesome, can make as much noise as you want.

Then we went drinking, like you didnt know this was gonna happen. started as soon as we walked out went into a local weatherspoons which looked too nice to even be a bar, looked more like a fancy pants restaurants. After a drink there we left and made for a bar that we were familiar with, and this is where issues happened, i had ordered two beers and the barmaid had took 3 out and opened them, and rather than correct her i paid for the three and i had the extra drink, but then to level this issue out my friend had to make my "mistake" on purpose lol to level out the drinking rounds lol. The issue here was we drank two beers in time that we would have drunk one. This is when the tiredness struck it was about 6pm, yes after excessive drinking in short time span i was feeling well tired at 6pm! there was also a need for food, It was time for a beast feast and it was KFC closest in walking distance.
The beast feast didnt help, by help i mean wake me up, it just made me feel more tired, so in a last ditch effort to try and wake up, i say last ditch we wasnt aware that this would be a last ditch effort at the time we thought this was a good plan. Go to another pub and order up a Vodka Redbull, as the Redbull should help us wake up... it didnt shattered and it was 7:30pm that isnt right, and rather than go on we all decided that we should call it a day and go home. Tried to fight and stay up till at least 10, i failed and was asleep before 10, i am gonna assume i was out cold by 9:30, and didnt get up till 10am the next morning when i was woken up, if i wasnt woken up, i probably would have been asleep for alot longer. I havnt slept for 12 hours in a long time, on average i get about 6 hours and wake up about the same time each day regardless of what time i sleep. Getting 12 hours has in theory is great, but i woke up and felt more tired than i do on a regular day or maybe i was just hungover.

Holy Jeans

Im walking home from the laundrette with my iPhone in my pocket, fully aware that i have a small hole in my pocket, this pocket normally was pocket assigned for change and my oyster card up until the small hole formed and coins and small receipts would fall down that hole in the pocket and into my shoe, so i switched my pockets around yes i have specific pockets for specific things lol deal with it lol. So my phone is now being used to kinda plug the hole however today when i was walking home the hole got bigger, as i noticed my phone fall through the hole, well i didnt notice straight away i just felt a cold thing slide down my leg and then rest against my ankle.

You know how weird you look pulling your phone from out of your shoe, it was like i was so some lame magic trick to no one lol. I got home and inspected the damage,

First of all yes i am not wearing trousers in that picture calm down lol, and yes thats huge hole lol. I am finally going to have to retire these jeans unless of course i learn how to sew and fix it myself however thats just gonna buy it some more time cause it will just rip again, and i dunno why i keep wearing these anyway i was aware of this hole in the pocket months ago, and i have bought new jeans in that space of time, yet i keep finding myself wearing these.

The Hurdle Story...

I got reminded of this story when catching up with a friend the other day over a few drinks. Now ive done many embarrassing things when i was in Secondary School,

like the time when i was incredibly ill and really should have been in school but my mum made me go to school anyway, but i didnt stay long anyway, as i threw up in Morning assembly after a coughing fit, and then was sent home, well, i had to wait for my mum to come pick me up and take me home cause the school wouldnt let me go home by myself after being sick. Or the time when i farted whilst throwing a javelin in P.E that was pretty funny thinking about it now, but at the time it was very much a red face moment. Edit: lol probably should of stated aswell that was also my personal best throw ever lol, it went well far lol (and before you start with the Ewww's Fart jokes will and always be hilarious).

This embarrassing moment my friend brought up was also during P.E. my friend was kinda there but he wasnt, he was in another lesson but saw the whole thing happen from the window whilst he was in class. Well during P.E it was the summer so we had stopped doing Football and Rugby and moved onto Athletics, and on that day we were doing Hurdles. Im guessing you already can guess what happened, i clipped the hurdle and flipped over and landed on my back it was a good thing i fell on grass i might have broken my tailbone or got a concussion had i done that on a actual track. Anyway that moment was by far the most embarrassing for on two accounts the people were actually doing P.E with me or my friends account that he saw from the Window.

His account was that he wasnt really paying attention in class but then again he wasnt really watching my class doing P.E, but always kinda knew where i was or if i was doing anything cause he would get blinded by the running shoes i had been wearing cause the sun hit them and made them very reflective and blinding.

They were similar to the image above but more highlighter yellow. He said, he saw me running then all he saw after the jump was two bright lights go through the air then hit grass. You would think that throwing up in assembly would have been more embarrassing but it was this, as this story would come up every summer when we would do Hurdles, it sometimes still comes up today when i see some friends i went to school with. I never wore those running shoes ever again lol.

Charity Dickhead

The other day i took a trip to Forbidden Planet, which instantly sounds if you never heard or been to the place as some sort of Porno Adventure Theme Park, i probably should have kept that joke to myself as i know someone who will read this blog post will now use this idea and make millions. So after turning into a 5 year old in a toy shop looking at all the collectables of figures in Forbidden Planet i was walking towards the bar (as per usual lol) i see this guy that properly reminded me of the people in the video above, This guy was holding a clipboard collecting for a charity and i totally ignored him not because he was collecting for a charity but because he was dressed like a total dickhead. He was wearing skinny jeans and flip flops im no fashion expert but im pretty sure those things shouldnt go together especially if your a man. Ever since i upgraded my broadband speed, whenever i close the lid of my laptop and then open it later, my wireless connection is not the first connection it connects to, My laptop will always connect to a wireless connection near me thats not password protected, and its usually either on of 2 it connects to the and 1 of them belongs to my neighbour the same one who said "arrest my case" when he meant to say "i rest my case". So i have to do extra annoying step clicking on the wireless icon and waiting for it to find my actual network.

Anyway i noticed this yesterday (image above highlighted in blue) and immediately wanted to find whoever owned this wireless connection and push them down some stairs or pimp slap them. First of all i cant stand that show and second of all the lame spelling of this nonsense. Now im trying to think of all the people that live near my that could be considered as a idiot who would do something like this and think it was a good idea cause its NOT.

Renewals

I was suppose to blog about this in February but never got round to it mainly cause i never got round to renewing this domain, also i had no idea the 2 year renewal i had previously paid for on Saturday 2nd May 2009 (checked my email for the receipt i dont remember dates like this lol) was running out. Then i got this letter in the mail from a random company about renewing my domain for this blog which states it was going to expire in June,

I dunno who this company is but they must be crazy if they thought i was gonna renew with them, a two year renewal with them is £40 a saving of £10 sounds like a good deal right? NO, In comparison to what i paid for 2 years in 2009 was £14.69, and today in 2011 where i renewed the domain for 3 years i paid £15.35 with a 27% discount so if i was going to renew it without the discount it would have been £20.91 which is still cheaper than renewing with that thing in the mail for just 1 year which costs £25. Probably should of paid attention to my inbox and renewed earlier as i could of made a bigger saving.

Ive Google'd "Domain Renwal Group" and on searching the word scam has popped up a number of times, this does look like a massive scam designed to look like a bill and pray on those that pay bills without properly looking at them. To fellow bloggers id recommend using a better domain registrar like GoDaddy.com

I probably shouldn't blog this, but im gonna cause im sure im gonna find it funny at some point and i know you the reader will find it funny. I broke one of my personal rules, that being don't fall asleep near or around your friends. As i always fear someone is gonna draw on me, and i wished that was the case this time round but what happen i think was worse.

I went to a friends bbq today on this lovely hot day, and well i ate too much bbq, who are we kidding we all knew that was gonna happen haha, anyway i needed a nap after eating so much, so i did, and well im gonna call this Karma returning to kick me in the arse after doing this to my friend when she passed out at a party http://www.mannydas.com/2010/03/never-pass-out.html (i just like to clarify again even tho i did in that old post that i linked, that it was a White board marker so it would wash off, and i did not, i repeat DID NOT draw the penis on her face lol even tho it was well funny lol)

it may have taken a year and a bit to finally get me but it found me, So while i was sleeping my friends thought it be funny to apply Veet hair removal cream on my back and i awoke to giggles as they were wiping away hair from my back, whilst it stinging like a stingy nettle sting i dunno why they did that probably boredom but my back isnt that hairy. Now i said Karma found me, but thinking about it now i dunno if it did cause i was a little annoyed at the time it happened, still kinda mad now cause its still stinging, but now i dunno wether Karma got me or not cause i dunno if im annoyed or slightly happy with my friends, cause my back right now is Smoooooooth and stinging but Smoooooooooth.

Arrest my case

Right yes my team lost yesterday, but it hurt more people than others, i dont get all pissy at whatever taunts i get i just ignore it even Texts! (You know who you are!). But my next door neighbor on the other hand well lets just see what he did on Facebook lol (you will have to click on the image to read it fully)

So he got so annoyed he lost his head in a rant lol and misspelled something, and yes i know i cant spell or write in proper sentences so i shouldn't judge, but this is actually funny, its not something he can actually blame on auto-correct on a smart phone cause it would have said sent via iphone or android he had typed this on the keyboard, and typed "arrest my case" instead of "i rest my case" lol

I also cant explain something on twitter, i was checking who was following me on twitter, and found something interesting,

Explanation to the "Manny being Manny" and "Manny Moments" i have recently claimed these phrases as my own, as soon as hearing that the Baseball Player Manny Ramirez who had won 2 World Series with the Boston Redsox's is retiring from baseball after failing another drug test. These qoutes refer to him whenever he was displaying a lack of enthusiasm and/or concentration, with mental lapses during a game was referred to by the press and members of the team as "Manny being Manny" and "Manny Moments"

Heel Turn

On Saturday i took part in the annual recording of "Da Sharpshooters Wrestling Podcast" Wrestlemania Roundtable, it was again done over Skype and this time the host video stream themselves over Ustream with audio from Skype coming through. There wasnt really a big turn out as it was put together at the last minute. So at first we started the show with the Hosts and myself when in previous years we had a couple of others on with us to make it a more round table than just a triangle but it later turned into a square as someone else joined midway thought.

As well as giving my opinion and predictions on the show i had agreed to read out the chat, little did i know this was gonna be a task in itself. Lemme explain what Turning Heel, or Heel Turn means in wrestling terms, it refers to when a good guy turns bad guy in simple terms. So throughout the show when conversation got thrown to me and then the chat room, but when the host asked me first what the chat room was saying i had turned heel and decided to put myself over the chat room as i had been on every Round table and clearly better than the Chat room so i should go first, even tho it is me that is reading the chat room messages lol.

i furthered my heel turn by taking it out on the chat room, by not wanting to read what they were saying cause sometimes i had to interpret what they were saying as at times the sentence didn't make sense and the spelling was bad, which is true in a wrestling bad guy sense as they are often hypocrites and at times delusional, as my spelling and grammar and sentence structure are indeed terrible.

But that became the running joke throwing it to me to read this stuff out, and at the end of the show, they established that they are never gonna have me read out the chat again, then i went on to say, id do it again but only if those in chat made sense and spelt correctly and used proper grammar. Which gave me some more heel heat (Heat in simple wrestling terms, when a bad guy does his job by getting a negative reaction from the crowd, which is Booing) i know i got this heat, when those in the Chat disliked my statement, one told me to fuck off lol and whilst others said they didnt like my statement.

Its a Badman Sweet, You Get Me!

I cant actually stop laughing to a bit in this trailer of a movie i saw when watching Sky Movies when they were showing the current top 10 movies in the UK Box Office, Its from a film called Anuvahood which came out last month, just from this joke alone i think i kinda wanna watch this film despite the terrible reviews its getting amongst movie critics.

Invisible Friend?

Its funny when pictures get taken of you and when your mid sentence or doing something or reacting to a multi flash camera resulting in funny and odd pictures this is by far the funniest, it looks like im so drunk and ive got a new invisible friend, lol i didnt do either that night just so you know.

Although there was a time when i did create a friend out of a object once, it was the Rugby World Cup 2007 and England had lost to South Africa, and at the same pub a friend of ours she was having her Birthday, so we started just plain drinking, but as i remember i was still fairly sane when this happened, i picked up a balloon and named him Bernard, like Tom Hanks Character in Castaway named a volleyball Wilson. I did this in response to something childish, i have a very active imagination, and when our drunk friend was telling us her room mates are over their and they have really hairy legs, which first lead to her checking how hairy our legs were and saying her friends who were girls were hairier, so with my childish imagination, im imagining a bear, so when they came over to talk to us, i proceeded to talk to my new friend Bernard the balloon.

Bernard died twice that night, by one of my good friends killing him twice, to which by now i was gone, how i do i remember i was gone, cause we started that day paying in Cash, we left paying by Card. But despite being completely wasted have vivid memories calling her a murderer, but on the way home, i was holding Bernard the third when the wind blew and Bernard flew away with the wind. Sad times lol however since then me and my mate we have seen many reincarnations of Bernard the Balloon, he found a coconut in his kitchen markings that resembled a face (this was ages ago i no longer have the picture) he became the first of many reincarnations of Bernard the Balloon.

Mental Breakdowns and Attacked on a Train

Before i start, yes i know this is a crappy title, i had written the whole post and then couldnt think of a title. I started off today, having to drop off some stuff to my mums work which she "forgot" or generally couldn't be bothered to bring in before she went on holiday to Prague or something along those lines, i know she had a flight to Germany first to meet my God mother first and then they are going on a coach trip somewhere from there.

Anyway as a result i have her bus pass which runs out next week, so limited walking done by me as i was told and prescribed by my doctor which i mentioned in the last blog post to keep off my ankle as much as possible or generally lazy for 3-6 weeks. Anyway on the bus, i was entertained along with the other people on the bus watching a man have a mental breakdown whilst trying to board the bus. I think he was generally one of those people who in the morning say "don't talk to me or anything before I've had my coffee" or pricks as i prefer to call them, When i got on the bus i tried to press the oyster card on the reader and the driver said it isn't working, so just to board the bus, and sit down. Yet this guy, proceeds to press his oyster card against the reader get more furious as the reader that isn't working isn't reading his oyster, he proceeds to smack it against the reader, even tho the driver is repeatedly yelling its not working, to the point he banged on the glass to try and get this mans attention and say the reader isn't working to which the man banged on the glass, "just Fucking, shut up" and continued trying to touch his oyster card on the reader which i decided to go "ooOOoooooo" from the back of the bus which got a laugh by the people on the bus. Then when he had enough he made some kinda of sound which i cant really type but its the sound of someone about to cry slash a animal type roar. Then got off the bus yelling abuse to the bus driver much to my and the rest of the passengers amusement.

Then on route to uni taking as many buses possible to get to the train station, one bus stopped annoyingly early so had to take another bus, which stopped into town, then took another bus that stopped right outside the train station from which i take the train into university. Which seems like i came in for no reason right now as when i walked in to Uni i was handed a leaflet saying that the lecturers are striking, well some of them our so now im stuck here till 2 minimum wondering if i have a lecture or not. Anyway back to what happened on the train.

I was just sitting down minding my own business when the train pulled up into Highbury and Islington, granted its one of the more busier stations on my train journey to university, when the woman sitting on the same row as me with a empty seat between us. She notices this is her stop kinda lately i suppose but the doors hadn't even opened yet and she just throws the newspaper and gets up to walk to the door. Well she didn't throw the newspaper on the empty seat, she threw the bloody thing at me. What makes it worse first she didn't say sorry about what she did, she turned around in which i thought she was going to say sorry for throwing that newspaper at you, no this Bitch turns round and picks up and takes the newspaper back and then gets off the train seriously how rude lol. Only now whilst typing this up i am thinking about things i could of done back to retaliate, the more childish being banging on the window to get her attention then flicking her the V's or Flipping her the Bird.

Anyway im going to sit outside in the sun and try and complete one of the books from my shelf at home, which is filled with books that have been either half read, half read is more a of exaggeration some cases maybe a couple of chapters have been read or some pages.

Prescription: 3-6 weeks of Laziness

Just when i thought i was healed, i am back to square one with this ankle injury, so went to the Doctors this morning. Which was well weird cause normally i phone to book a appointment and end up being seen about 11:30, but i was told to go at just before 8, and queue outside and you will get a early appointment, and they were right, Doors opened at 8, i was second in line and was given a appointment at 8:10, and i got seen at 8:10 which never happens as everyone knows with doctors surgerys you tend to be seen at minimum 30 minutes after your actual appointment.

So i get seen, tell my Doctor its flared up again, and she checks it out, and says it was healing but you probably had a set back as you went back to your normal routine and your ankle hadnt had the chance to fully heal, so i want you to stay off it for as much as possible for the next 3-6 weeks as these things can take about 6 weeks to heal, but if no significant change occurs in the next 3 weeks i should come back in and she will recomend me to see a Physio. She also told me to try this Pain relief Gel which is incredible i just used it a few minutes ago, and works instantly.

Edit: Forgot to mention when i first published this, before leaving the doctors office or room, i said something lame, and pathetic, as my ankle had swelled up again, i had limped the distance from my house to the doctors surgery which seems like it was miles when i was limping. However checking on Google Maps, the distance between my place and the doctors surgery is 0.2 miles and should take about 4 minutes to walk. Well my limped pace made it about 15 minutes, and also still kinda hurt as i made my way to the Surgery. So as a result of this i asked my doctor the lamest thing i think im ever gonna say THIS WEEK. as i was putting my sock back on and sliding my foot slowly back into shoe i asked if there was any chance i could get a walking aid, she said no, as i dont need them as the plan is for me to rest it as much as possible for the next few weeks. Not gonna lie i felt a little deflated when she said no. Must be some childhood desire to have crutches not a broken leg or foot just wanting crutches i remember being at primary school slightly jealous when someone had crutches,

Anyway before i went to get this Gel from Boots i went and had breakfast at McDonalds mmm om nom nom sausage and egg mcmuffin. While i was there i also was entertained by a singing old man you i kinda wanted to laugh and idea of recording him was meant to be a joke but he was actually pretty good.

Anyway im now at home resting this stupid ankle, and wondering was i really prescribed by my doctor to be lazy for the next 3-6 weeks in regards to my ankle. I do have DVD episodes of the Sopranos to watch so i should be entertained throughout this resting period. I also have Topspin 4 to play aswell although im already getting bored of that game, as i did with Fight Night Champion.

Friday Night Crackheads and More

So last Friday, went out to a Pub for someones birthday, i say someone because to be honest ive only met this person once, when i went to watch a American Football game at Wembley Stadium. So its safe to say i dont know this person, and to be honest i only went cause my friend text me and said do you wanna go out for a drink, and how do you say no especially on a Friday night.

Well the ankle still isnt 100% so the plan was meet my friend in town, however as i was told to take it easy on the ankle, which i got in trouble today by the Doctor for not taking it easy and not having any strapping or support on it, but anyway the plan changed to my friend will meet me near a bus stop near my house, reducing the amount of walking i would have to do.

So we jumped on the bus, and there is always something eventful on the travels whenever me and my friend travel into Central London, either a huge downpour of rain, but more importantly its like we have a magnetic pull to crazy people and drunks. This occasion there was no rain, but more crazy drunk crackheads, who got on the bus and sat down in the seats next to us in aisle, now i was in the aisle seat so i was in the firing line should anything happen so i was doing my best not to laugh or stare at the pair of crazies beside me. Which was a huge struggle cause its not like they were quietly sitting there, they were very much the loudest people on the bus, thinking about it now i should of recorded them, because the stuff they were saying was too funny. It was a man and a woman both with rough voices you know the 60 ciggarettes a day type voice, and the only part i choose to remember this Monday afternoon, they were yelling "Somebody call Taggart theres been a Murrrrderrrr" (Taggart being a Scottish Detective TV Show, Thank you wikipedia) and they had a Crucifix and the man was being fairly rough with his lady friend, and blessed her roughly with her Crucifix still in the box by pretty much banging the box on her head chest and shoulders, Just as they were getting off the crack lady was telling the crack man that he is being so rough with her and that she has brittle bones and osteoarthritis well she tried to say osteoarthritis she said something along those lines. He continued to grab and pull her as they got off the bus.

So we eventually get to the Bar, and wait at the bar for about 25 minutes to get served, easily could of went behind the bar grabbed two beers and left the money behind the bar. We got the beers and moved to where everyone who was at this Birthday meet up was, and i only knew my friend that i went to the bar with, anyway we finish these beers in like 15 minutes not even intentionally as we both stated that we didnt really wanna drink that much that night mainly cause it would take forever to get served at this place lol. So i stated i will go back up in 10-15 minutes hopefully the bar would clear up a bit, it didnt, i stood at the end of the bar, and heard a awesome old school song being played and text my friend "TUNE" lol

I dont normally proof read my blogs normally hit post and let you guys assume what i mean lol, but the next paragraph is confusing, so i would suggest reading that slowly lol

At the bar i looked left and then right to see who was behind the bar when i noticed another friend standing to left of me, she hadnt noticed me yet, so i decided to poke her arm. we caught up at the bar whislt waiting for service, she eventually got served and then the girl to my right was probably next but the dude behind the bar served me instantly lol, served in under 10 minutes this time, now thats pretty awesome lol, anyway my friend i was buying a drink for went to find one of our other friends who called me whislt at the bar but couldnt hear him, so when i returned he wasnt there, so rather than sit down and wait for him amongst people i didnt know i went and sat with the people i did know whom i met at bar and wasnt part of this Birthday drinks lol. I ended up staying seated and talking with them instead of going back to the birthday drinks as i came to the conclusion nobody over there would notice i had gone. I text my friend and he came over aswell, as his situation was pretty much the same as mine but he kept going back and forth as he knew the person well. I had a better time to be honest with the decision i made to stay where i was.

Was pretty funny trying to explain how i have hurt my ankle, despite not knowing the exact reasoning to how it happened, explaining i wish i knew or i wish i had a better explanation like oh a Lion from the Zoo escaped and started chasing me and i tripped whilst running away from the Lion but i dont have a exact reason apart from i must have tweaked it somehow. Then randomly get high 5'ed by a another friend who turned up to the Birthday drink up, he pretty much interrupted the conversation to go "Sorry just need to say hello and high 5 one of my boys" lol, to the people i was sitting with expecting to be high 5'ed also but was left hanging, and also after being told the Birthday celebrants name a number of times, doing the classic trick of saying it wrong each time by saying a name beginning with the same letter.

This blog post has gone on for a bit too long so ill end here, not just cause i wanna take a nap after taking a painkiller lol.

The Sex Fair

This is a sign that i really should be paying attention more to announcements in class, but i did remember the lecturer mentioning that the 10th March instead of a lecture the class would be participating in Sexuality Health fair, in which students would be required to set up a stall about sexual health concerns, and two weeks ago at the end of the lecture the lecturer was assigning roles and asking people to sign up to help peoples stalls. I conveniently didnt sign up to do anything and planned to take that day off and stay at home as non of this crap was being graded.

However last week i missed the lecture due to my ankle injury so that ruined the plan of not turning up earlier today. As i didnt wanna have two absences in a row, and last week all they did was discuss what was going on in detail today. So new plan i wasnt going in with a bag, i was gonna only bring a pen specifically to sign a register and then casually leave at least thats what i thought i would be doing.

I signed the register but it didnt end there, Lecturer kept catching me in conversation as i was trying to make a exit. So to pass the time i went to some of the stalls and helped them out by filling out their questionnaires. Ate some of the biscuits they left out lol then was offered a free lunch and condoms lots and lots of Condoms lol some with designs on them from a brand ive never heard off before.

And also whilst looking at the stalls they had a massive sperm toy on the tables, it was so funny it even squeaked when you pressed it lol. I named him Spermy the Sperm,

Anyway I eventually managed to leave in what seemed like a awesome idea which i probably should of thought of earlier. Make the excuse im going outside to smoke and never come back lol.

New Glasses

Two weeks ago i posted about falling asleep on my glasses and thus breaking them by rolling over them in my sleep. Well i had to go Specsavers as i mentioned in that blog post, and i also mentioned that it would take two weeks for them to be ready, just so happens i damage my ankle that i mentioned in detail in the last post, and was dreading the fact that i would actually have to go out and limp my way into Specsavers aswell as pick up a brand new game, the only benifit is that these two shops are right next door to each other.

and i mentioned two weeks ago i had no idea what glasses i had picked out cause i had already forgotten when i posted up the blog post that i had broken my glasses. So it was a bit of a surprise when i picked them up lol, they are pretty much the same the only difference being the Frame arm width. Ive attached pictures of them below,

Ankle Injury?

So the last couple of days ive been stuck in bed cause ive managed to hurt my ankle, i dont know exactly how i hurt my ankle but i have, hurt it so bad i cant walk on it without grimacing in pain. I think i picked it up on Wednesday, i remember it feeling weird like a tiny pain but again i still have no idea how this happened maybe a uneven path causing me to twist it or something anyway the pain was minimal and i was still able to continue my walk home and didnt notice it for the rest of the night.

Thursday morning when i woke up it felt horrible couldnt put any weight on it still completly unaware how i got this, i joked that someone broke in and broke my ankle. I thought i could walk it off and go to University for my one lecture, but it wasnt happening, i struggled to walk to the dry cleaners to drop my coat which ive been meaning to take there for the last 3 months which is now covered in about 4 months worth of KFC Gravy stains. The walk to the Dry Cleaners is about 2 minutes or about 1 minute or less if you run, my ankle was so messed up limping there took me about 10 minutes and then 10 minutes to walk back home having decided i cant go to University like this. Limped my way home and pretty much crawled up the stairs, and my Dad gave me some of his Tramadol (a pain killer used in treating moderate to severe pain, thank you wikipedia) and told me to elevate it and go straight to bed, yeh thats all i had time to do anyway that stuff knocked me out!

Friday was pretty much the same as Thursday but only difference was i had a tiny bit more mobility in my Ankle as the swelling went down a bit so again i thought ill walk it off again, cause i have to go pick up my Glasses and a Game that was coming out that day Fight Night Champion (that will be a seperate post lol) but im pretty sure i did myself some more damage tho, i walked as far as i could limping, which was a struggle to just get to the bus stop, and took the bus into town, and got my stuff and walked back to the bus stop the only issue was having to cross the road. On a normal day you i might quickly run across the road but not with a injured ankle, i waited for the green man light to cross the road, and got halfway across the road when i got faked by a bus, which it was speeding towards the light with a look of no intention to stop and i was stuck like a deer in headlights, i tried to quickly move, and i think i tweaked it even more, my left leg jolted straight like i had no joints in my legs or my leg was made of wood and the pain was in my ankle my calf and thigh.

Now its Saturday, and i have more mobility in my ankle with less pain, and can put a bit more weight on the ankle so im walking a bit more, hopefully i will all good come Sunday or Monday,

Spidercat

Yesterday i was subject of attempts of attacks by a Cat, not just any cat some G.I Joe, Action Man, some kind of Spidercat, i should of grabbed a picture or two. Anyway i was talking to my friend in the street, we notice this cat and continue talking, i had my back turned to the road, and next all im being told by my friend, "he is about to jump on you" all i do is turn round and freak out that a Cat is on top of the Car behind me and looks like he was judging the distance of the jump between the Car and my head. My friend first said i should of never told you and just let it happen, as it would resemble the scene from Friends when a Cat jumps on Ross head.

I dont understand how the Cat even got on top of the Car, some kind of Spidercat, as soon as i noticed it moved back down for its next Spidey trick, by this time i have moved and my back was facing a house and not the road, yet somehow this spidercat climbed on top of a pillar, which i didnt notice till he must have rustled some leaves again when i notice its in attack mode.

Broken Glasses

Like a idiot last week i fell asleep watching tv in bed and with my glasses on, so i wake up they have come off and i had been rolling all over them in the night resulting in the frame being all bent up. So i had to quickly had a look at the frames they had on offer on the specsavers website and then made a dash to specsavers to get a new pair, taking advantage of the 2 for 1 deal on glasses.

I get there and i find the ones i wanted from the website the only problem being, they were only available for kids, which i didnt understand because on the website they had them in the mens section for selection how lame! So had to go through the whole selection process of trying different pairs on in the store.

I picked them up, had measurements done for my eyes, i dunno some optician nonsense, then paid for them and was told to pick them up on wait for it the 4th of bloody March, what are they shipping them in directly from China or something? two weeks is a long time i reckon ill forget about them in two weeks, I had bought these last Friday and right now i dont exactly remember what they look like all i know is they are both made by Quiksilver. Luckilly for me i have i found a spare pair at home in a cabinate, otherwise i would of had to use the bent up pair as some form of Monocle and perhaps dress up like the monopoly man.

Sex Meeting...

Yeh thats about as interesting as the meeting got, the silly name i gave the meeting on Tuesday with my sexuality and health class, i said it to anyone that asked what i was doing on Tuesday, oh i have a sex meeting, and i also mentioned it on twitter just for jokes. Then i receive this text just as im sitting down with my group.

A instant smirk went across my face, simply cause it was way too funny, however thats about as funny this meeting got. We were to discuss biological gender theory for a presentation later in the week on Thursday, Biological Gender Theory you say? yes i said that exactly the lecturer wanted us to give a 30 minute presentation on it. I can give you a less than one minute presentation on it, Men have penises and women have vaginas the end. Anyway this meeting went on for ages, i had the benefit of escaping for a couple of minutes when a friend rang me, even tho i said i was in a meeting she said will talk later then, i insisted we continue mainly cause i was bored in my meeting. Eventually the meeting ended and i was assigned to speak about Male anatomy.

So presentation on Thursday, i had about 2 paragraphs prepared to speak, not that i really wanted to speak, as i hate presentations, so we had a run through before the lecture aswell as put everything together on the powerpoint, when we had someone join the group last minute and someone suggested we can give him something to do, so i gave him one of my paragraphs to say, all he had to do was read what i wrote, but during the run through he tried to make it his own and it sounded terrible, also i suppose when im considered well spoken among my group you know were gonna have a problem lol.

We get to the presentation and i was up first, i said my piece and really dont remember what else happened not because i fainted or was drunk, i got so bored i went somewhere in my head lol, thats quite bad to say but my own groups presentation bored me, so i cant imagine how bored our audience was.

And the group work doesn't stop there all this extra nonsense work that doesn't count to the actual grade is part of this module, so i have another Sex Meeting next week, we have to come up with a role play situation, i know what your thinking Sex Meeting and Role play, if only that was the case the scenario is about Transgender and the exact scenario we have been given is as follows,

You work with Calvin (he is the lecturer) and was out one weekend and spotted him wearing women's clothing in a busy gay area of London. He knows that you have seen him and tells you about his feelings.

Design a group scenario where you can show how you how be open and provide a space for someone form a transgender orientation to feel accepted and comfortable.

I really cant be bothered with this, firstly i dont know anything about Transgenders nor do i wanna look it up. Plus i dont wanna be in a Sex meeting discussing this as were gonna have to come up with some sort of script which will take hours to come up with.

3 Down and 1 to Go

Ok this post is generally for me and i wont be posting it on twitter for people to check out, but its about time some luck went my way in University, i say it was luck but to be honest it was pretty much all the hard work i did in December and January that really paid off, i passed all 3 Modules of last semester and just need to pass one more module which im doing now and im finally graduating, Feel like the less cooler version of the film Van Wilder,

And the other two modules i got 52 and a 56 overall so im pretty pleased, especially as i did technically spend a Sunday afternoon in the Library whilst watching ManUtd play Liverpool in the FA Cup on the screen whislt completing my essay on Depression. which can also be read here http://www.mannydas.com/2011/01/library-football.html my essays on Depression were given middle 50s each however in the feedback sheet she had mentioned i had made great points had my spelling and grammar been perfect i would be looking at work at high 60s, Damn you Microsoft word! and Mac with your American-English dictionary lol.

One more and im done, thats just less than 10 weeks, i just hope i keep on putting in the hard work even if i think my current module is ridiculous

Trick Shot Quarterback

Yesterday i watched this video and was slightly amazed, and its pretty much gone viral, its UCONN’s backup quarterback Johnny McEntee making some awesome trickshot throws. Some of them seem impossible, but i suppose if you attempt something about 5-100 times your eventually gonna make it.
